We All Want to Get in
Being an "insider" is what we all want . . . and need.
It’s launch day for Insider Outsider! I’m so excited to share this with everyone, and I’ve been hard at work in the background thinking and praying. I’ve also written two articles related to the content of the book, which you can read below. The first explores a beautiful essay by C.S. Lewis on what it means to “get in.” The second talks about the difference between critiquing ideologies vs. critiquing persons. Both pieces unpack elements of Insider Outsider concisely and have an apologetic edge. I Hope they’re a blessing to you!
If you’ve been looking for a book that uses theology to introduce an apologetic method and then shows what that can look like in our culture (in the realms of beauty, identity, and storytelling), then give Insider Outsider a chance. I think you’ll find it warmer than most apologetics books, but just as concerned to defend the faith in a grace-giving and God-honoring way.
