Psalm 1 has beautiful imagery that's worth our meditation.
For those who read the article, here's the couplet that came to me as I walked my dog down the street yesterday:
All the trees' stories, with their many-veined faces
Are loosed from the binding and take up their places.
I loved this. Fall is so lovely but it reminds me the bleak, cold winter is on its way. Isn't it kind of our Father to fill the earth with color as it APPEARS to be dying? Death is not the end, hallelujah!
Beautiful writing.
But in the end, what gives so much joy in the reading this essay is that it is evident that God is the one who is being exulted.
